As of March 2025, Robert is working full time as a Research Assistant in UT Dallas’s Developmental Affective, Motor, Memory, & Imaging (DAMMI) Lab, under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Damme!
His main duty is to use Bash & Tcsh scripts in the Ubuntu Command Line (and R, as needed) to manage and manipulate Big Data, processing over 16,000 brain scans using FreeSurfer. Soon, the lab will use the data Robert has derived to compare hippocampal volumes, estradiol levels, and prevalence of psychotic-like experiences to determine the extent to which estradiol has a neuroprotective, antipsychotic-like effect!
